Oak Room Lounge was founded by Rafael Pineda on December 12th, 2020 with the intention to offer his Dominican cultural background to the community of Northern Nevada. Oak Room is ran and operated as a family business while prioritizing inclusivity and diversity among the staff. The Oak Room proudly team includes members of US military, Asian, Latino, and the LGBTQ+ communities. Our sole mission is to provide a fun, inclusive, and safe environment to everyone who walks through our doors. As a Latin venue, Oak Room aims to bring unique talents to Reno, on a national front as well as internationally, including DJs, artists, and legendary entertainers in the Latin community. We value providing extraordinary service with a different theme every weekend, so it never gets boring.
